RESUMPTION IS 29th OCTOBER, 2015
Ordinarily, I would have not spent my time going over this again but I
am getting tired of people calling or sending messages asking me if
the CONTROVERSIAL TIMETABLE I posted online is still valid. It is
quite disheartening to receive such calls and messages as it makes it
appear we are unsure of our duties and their implications in the lives
of the students we have been called to serve. Please note that there
is nothing controversial about this timetable. It is valid, and as it
stands, lecturers and staff of the university await your return to the
Den of Lions for resumption of academic activities. So, if you have
not started preparing to return to school, please start now. According
to the calendar, freshmen should be in school on Thursday, October
29th, 2015 to start their clearance processes while returning students
are expected back on
Thursday, November 5th, 2015.

On another note, it is important to state it clearly here that the
West African University Games currently on in the university will in
no way affect the resumption date. Members of the organizing committe
are just a handful of the administrative staff of the university, and
at such, other members of the administrative staff are busy with their
duties. Secondly, the games will end on Sunday, 25th October and
whatever it might have interrupted (if any) returns to normal.
I believe I have dealt with this issue enough. Please disregard any
speculations that the timetable is controversial or invalid except you
enjoy such speculations.
