ONE MAGICAL VOTE

      In the year 1645, one vote gave Oliver Cromwell control over England.
     
       In the year 1776, one vote gave the United States English Language instead of German.
      
        In the year 1800, Thomas Jefferson was elected President of America by one vote margin.
     
        In the year 1845, one vote brought Texas into union. In the year 1868, one vote saves President Andrew Johnson from impeachment.
    
      In the year 1875, one vote changed France from a monarchy to a republic.
     
       In the year 1889,by one vote margin Washington was admitted to a statehood with union.
     
    In the year 1923,one vote gave Adolf Hitler leadership of the Nazi party.
      
         In the year 1994, United States House of Representatives enacted a law banning specific classes of assault weapons, the vote was initially tied , but one member changed his vote to approve the ban.
  
         In the year 1995, United States Balance Budget Amendment Bill came before the US senate when it became obvious the measure would fail, Senate Republican Whip Bob Dole changed his vote to enable him to bring the matter back up under the parliamentary rules for a vote in the future.  

          Every citizen of Nigeria is urged to come out in mass to decide the nation's fate, every vote counts.
