You Should ask "What is really really wrong with the UNN Resumption Timetable?"

If you are not frequent online, you would have seen about four (4) different UNN resumption timetables. If you now happen to be an online guru, you are probably in the hospital right now, groaning over the stomach ache and headache that these one thousand and one timetables have caused you. While we prepare a "Get Well Soon" card for you, we would love to really answer one or two questions that are on your mind. What is really really wrong with the UNN Resumption Timetable?

As we all know, we have a new Vice-chancellor (4 months in office). Prof. Benjamin Ozumba has promised to cause an overhaul of the entire system for the better. He promises to turn things around, and consequently, this includes the resumption timetable and the school fees. The one word we have come up with after asking many questions is that he is still planning. According to sources he plans to decrease the school fees by about 6,000 naira, that is slashing the Lionet charges by 50%. A decision such as this does not occur quickly. So the delay in school fees release is well expected. The delay in timetable release is also not surprising.

On a recent visit to the Public Relations Department of the School, we were able to find out one definitive answer, which is that the Resumption date falls within the first week of November. With this information, it is safe to conclude that the date we are looking for is either the 3rd of November, which is a Monday or the 6th of November, which is a Thursday. A recent post by the website http://www.unn-edu.info has put to rest some of these permutations we would have put ourselves through.  According to the post, new students are to resume on 3rd, while old students are coming back on the 7th, which is a Friday. The next logical question would be the authenticity of the information and the credibility of the website. Our theory is that since the date 7th coincides with the first week of November of which we were informed at the Public Relations office, and also given that the website www.unn-edu.info has a very credible reputation, having published previous first-hand and authoritative information, they may have the key to unlock this mystery. While we wait for the first week of November to finally come, you are free to form your own theory about this confusion. Below is the timetable according to unn-edu.info
