My New Year Message - Comr. Okeke Chibueze

GREAT LIONS AND LIONESSES!!!
It's the beginning of another journey of 366 days. Looking back we can
all recount so many things that happened in the past year.
The glories
The challenges
The ups and downs
The achievements and failures
The bitter and sweet experience
...and many more
One thing is sure in all these - GOD HAS BEEN FAITHFUL.

We have come a long way people, we shared in one another's joy and
sadness; we groaned and mourned together; we rejoiced and celebrated
together. One thing has kept us bound and that remains our common
ground.
Despite the odds, I wish to encourage us all to remain united in our
struggle for the welfare of one another. I wish to remind us about an
African philosophy (the UBUNTU) which has its translation in many of
our slogans, whether we are aware of it or not.
In ESGA, we have "Igwe bu ike"
In NAAS, we have "Igwe bu ike"
In NUASS, we have "Onye aghana nwanne ya"
In aluta and solidarity, we have "A pain to one is a pain to all"
... and many more.
In our words, we preach peace and oneness, and this is one thing that
will make us ever indomitable. I therefore enourage us to also do the
same through our actions.
As we journey into 2016, let us determine to bear one another's
burden, thereby fulfilling the law of righteousness.
Together we shall conquer!
Together we shall overcome!
Together we shall excel in all areas of our endeavour!
With God on our side, the sky shall be our starting point.
