SUSPENSION OF POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES IN UNN

Below is a message sent out to UNN students this
afternoon from the office of the University PRO.

FOR THE URGENT ATTENTION OF ALL

SUSPENSION OF SCHOOL OF POSTGRADUATE
PROGRAMMES IN UNN

In view of the on-going impasse resulting in the
undue postgraduate restiveness, Management has directed IMMEDIATE
SUSPENSION of all postgraduate
programmes indefinitely till further notice.

Postgraduate students in the PG Hostels are
directed to VACATE THE PG HOSTELS NOT LATER THAN
6:00 PM TODAY, Friday January 16, 2015.

All concerned should please comply to avoid unpleasant consequences.

Happenings around the PG Hostel confirms this as
armed security men stormed the hostel the same evening
to evacuate the students from the hostel. As at the
time of filing this report, the unrest has continued as PG students
were seen protesting around Franco Ref.
