Frenzy in Mbaukwu...All for Ngige<br/><br/>It was an emphatic mass approval for the candidature of Senator Chris Ngige as next governor of Aambra State today at a foremost Anglican Church in Mbaukwu, Awka South LGA.<br/>Ooooh ! The people wailed and shuffled their seats. They refused to be controlled because Onwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Had come. They breached protocol, Yes! But prefered to pay the fine if any. It was the occasion of the burial ceremony of Mrs Christiana Chizoba Ibezim,mother of the Anglican Bishop of Awka, Most Rev (Dr) Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim.<br/>Governor Obi was already addressing the church during the service when Senator Ngige arrived .As soon as he appeared the congregation went wild with jubilation shouting Onwa Onwa ka’ayi geesoo,on’e je je ,ona na na ,Onwa k’ayi I ge soo!<br/>Bishop Ibezim personally had to intervene to apologise after the ovation temporarily died down. He appealed passionately to the congregation, including the knights who were carried away in the frenzy to be calm.<br/>But that appeal was short-lived as another drowning ovation came when Senator Chris Ngige was formally introduced, next to Gov Obi and his ex-Fidelity bank manager Willie Obiano, who got a meagre clap.<br/>Gov Obi left the scene hurriedly, apologising to the Bishop that he has other engagements. Poor<br/>Governor Obi and his account officer Obiano.<br/>Vox populi, Vox Dei.<br/>The people have spoken.<br/>Vote NGIGE! Experience Counts!!
