ANOTHER VICTORY RECORDED!!!

This is to formally inform all Lions and Lionesses of our cooperative success in the struggle.
After series of meetings, delegations and negotiations, the university administration, decided to grant out request of totally removing the N31,500.00 added to the school fees for final years. We owe it all to the wonderful Vice Chancellor, Prof. B. C. Ozumba who responded promptly to our distress call and acted immediately in favour of the Nigerian students.
The gist is, convocation fee was increased to N20,000.00 and the Digital Certificate was meant to cost N11,500.00. Our request was that they be removed from the school fees and graduating students should pay for them during clearance. This was granted by the Vice Chancellor though he explained the reasons for the decision to include them in the school fees.
With the latest development, all final year students should have the expected amount on their invoices when they generate them for school fees payment. Also, the school fees schedule will be published any time soon to reflect these decisions. We thank the Lord God Almighty from Whom all good things come for the strength and courage to work, and we thank you all for your prayers, support and cooperation.

We wish to also reiterate that the Students' Union Government, led by Comr. Chukwu Emmanuel, is highly committed to your welfare and a peaceful academic environment for the benefit of all. All we ask is your continued support, prayers and cooperation, and together, we shall make our Union great again.
