IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL FORMER OCCUPANTS OF OKEKE HOSTEL

The SUG President, Comr. Oji, Peter, Ekene welcomes all Lions and
Lionesses back to the Den with high hope that you all enjoyed the
yuletide despite the odds and attendant challenges.
As regards our colleagues and friends who were affected by the Okeke
Hostel, arrangements have been made with the university authority to
relocate all former occupants of the affected hostel to Nkrumah Hostel
temporarily. At such, a memo (attached herein) has been passed to the
Post Graduate Students occupying Nkrumah to vacate so as to give room
for this. Also, all former occupants of Okeke Hostel are also by this
broadcast enjoined to report to Student Affairs Department with a
proof that they are legal occupants of the hostel so they may be given
manual allocation to the alternative hostel.
For those who have lost their hostel allocation slips, please visit
the porter to retrieve a copy, duplicate and return or alternatively,
you may reprint your hostel allocation slip from the university portal
and report at Student Affairs Department with it.
For those who have been given the said temporary accommodation but are
yet to move in due to the presence of PG Students, we plead with you
to be patient with them as they vacate. It is important to note that
the university administration, the SUG and all concerned are doing our
best to give you the succor we can afford at this time of great
challenge.
To all Lions and Lionesses, we welcome you to a new year of new hopes,
expectations and anticipation. May the good Lord grant our heart
desires this year and lead us closer to our dreams.
