IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. First Semester Examinations
This is to inform all students that the scheduled date for
commencement of first semester examinations as contained in the first
timetable of events for the 2015/2016 academic session (that is,
Monday, 22nd February, 2016) still remains valid as at the time of
this report. Consequently, students are advised to prepare well for
the forthcoming examinations, ignoring all rumours of a change in the
date. If there be any change in the stipulated date, you will be
communicated promptly.

2. Computer-Based Test FOR GS COURSES

This is to announce to all first year, second year, or carry-over
students of the University of Nigeria who are taking general studies
(GSP) courses that starting from the first semester of the 2015/2016
academic session, General Studies Examinations will be computer-based.
In view of this, the ICT Unit of the University of Nigeria requires
you to ensure that you complete the online registration of the GSP
courses you take, if you have not done so. You are to do this before
Friday, February 12, 2016.
The slogan for the CBT is: "No Online Registration of GSP Courses, No
GSP Examination(s)".
Please, comply without delay. Carry-over students in particular should
take note of this announcement.
N.B:
There will be an opportunity to practice for students who want to
familiarize themselves with the GS CBT application. (This will be duly
publicized). All students who came in through JAMB and went through
the Computer Based Test are expected to be proficient in the use of
the computer and also the CBT application.

3. REGISTRATION/RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION OF STUDENT GROUPS/ASSOCIATIONS
FOR 2015/2016 ACADEMIC SESSION.

This is to inform all student groups at Department/Faculty/Town/Local
Government/ State/Religious/Club levels that registration/renewal of
registration of student groups and associations for the 2015/2016
academic sessions is still on and will end on February 29, 2016. Any
group/association that fails to register/renew her registration at the
expiration of the period will be declared illegal and will not be
allowed to operate in the university.
