Convocation Debate

STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT
UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA

A call for submission of applications for the 2016 university
convocation debate.

Greatest Lions and Lionesses;
In the bid to always get students involved in the activities of the
university, the vice chancellor of our noble varsity, prof. B.C.
Ozumba and the school's senate ceremonials committee have included a
debate competition in the week-long convocation scheduled to hold from
the 15th-20th February, 2016.

The essence of this debate competition can not be overemphasized as
this would help our students grow and develop their oratory and
communication skills so as to meet up with the world standard and also
compete favourably with scholars from around the globe.

After much deliberations by the convocation debate subcommittee, the
topic: "UNIVERSITY EDUCATION SHOULD BE SKILL BASED RATHER THAN
