FIRE INCIDENT AT OKEKE HOSTEL, UNN

The Report reaching us is that Okeke Hostel in University of Nigeria Nsukka which is located opposite the Medical Center suddenly caught fire from high electric voltage. The fire claimed the whole 2nd floor (300 Series). No casualties were recorded. The Enugu State fire service did their best. They stopped the flames which were almost extending to the nearby hostel ISA-KAITA HALL but unfortunately all the properties inside 34 rooms in OKEKE HALL were burnt to ashes.
