NGOZI JOAN NWANTA (SAUN) – THE IMMEDIATE PAST VICE PRESIDENT OF LAWSA

Normally to become a Vice President (usually reserved for the lady folks) is quite easy. The prerequisites are
Be beautiful
Be friendly and
Have equally vibrant and friendly friends (for campaign purposes).
Not so easy though but you are at least 90% assured of winning and then when you do, you go underground and no one ever hear about you again.

But not so for Ngozi Nwanta, the immediate past vice president of LAWSA; this charming paragon of beauty was the best VP Henry Ugwu could have ever asked for.

Undoubtedly, other members of the past executive deserve their own portion of the accolades especially the past DOS, Edidiong Udounwa for organizing Miss LAWSA – the best faculty pageantry this school has seen so far but ask any LAWSAite or any UNEC student, if you wish, what was the highlight of the past LAWSA week and the answer will all be the same – LAWSA Cultural Day. It was not just the best for LAWSA but without apologies, the best the whole school saw this past "social weeks". And the lady behind its success was no other but Ngozi Nwanta. The brilliant beauty from Anambra State set a standard for vice presidency, brought prestige and purpose to the post in equal measure. If you ever wondered why she did what she did then you need to see her antecedents – from one leadership position to the other and then you will realize that she's simply the golden fish, a seasoned administrator. Just one name for her – The Amazon. With so many feathers to her cap already, she, as of recent, has been adorned with another prestigious plume – Senior Advocate of University of Nigeria in recognition for her contribution to advocacy and related matters in this citadel of learning. We pray that the present administration will tap into her wealth of experience to replicate or surpass her standards.
